Broken Wood Pole...Lineman dies!
I just heard a sad story from one of my customers in Brazil. A contractor that was testing a wood pole with a hammer only climbed the pole and it broke off right at the ground.
This contractor was doing a job for CPFL. Now they are looking at the Resistograph PD model. Why do we always have things happen like this before they start listening. The latest I heard was that CPFL is now trying to cover it up. Sorry, it is all over the web!
